To attend the SPERA2026 Conference, please complete two steps:

  1. Complete the conference online registration form.
  2. Once registered, please proceed to the ANU Payment Portal.

Registration and payment are due by Friday 24 July. SPERA member rates and early bird discounts are available - please refer to the Conference Fees section below for details.

The conference fee covers:

  • Attendance at all sessions
  • Coffee breaks and lunches
  • Welcome BBQ Dinner and HIAF tour on Monday, 14 September 2026
  • Social activity (Canberra tour) on Tuesday, 15 September 2026
  • ECR (early career researchers and professionals) networking event (date TBC)
  • Conference Dinner on Wednesday, 16 September 2026

 

Optional specialised Workshop on Friday 18 September

Workshop fees (in Australian dollars): $50 Student, $250 SPERA Member, $275 Non SPERA Member.

Optional extras

Accompanying persons are welcome to the social events. The event fees (per person) are $70 [AUD] for the Welcome BBQ and $150 [AUD] for the Conference Dinner. Please submit the expression of interest via the conference online registration form.

 

Method of Payment

Payment can be made via credit cards via the ANU Payment Portal.

 

ANU Staff and students can also make payment via an Internal Transfer. Please contact the conference secretary to arrange a transfer. You will need to include to your email request a charge code / account number and an email approval of the account delegate to your request.

 

Cancellations

If you are no longer able to attend the conference, you must let us know as soon as possible by contacting the conference secretary. Refunds are available before the registration deadline. After 14 August 2026, requests for refund will be processed on a case-by-case basis subject to individual circumstances.
