The Journal of Environmental Radioactivity will issue a virtual special issue for the SPERA2026 Conference. Selected SPERA members will serve as guest editors and Michaela Froehlich will be the Overseeing Editor. Everyone is invited to submit a manuscript, which in principle should be based on what was presented (oral or poster) at SPERA2026 Conference.

The deadline for submission is 30 May 2027. Please note that papers will be published as soon as they are accepted, and thus the sooner you submit the better. The guest editors will do their best to make the process as smooth as possible.

Manuscripts shall be submitted through the JER Editorial Manager where you need to select the name of the special issue VSI:SPERA2026 when you reach the “article type” step in the submission process.
